# Dashboard

> A store-wide view of recent tag activity, usage, and plan status

## Overview

The Tag History dashboard is the main page of the app, accessible from your Shopify Admin sidebar. It gives you a bird's-eye view of tag activity across your entire store.

## What the Dashboard Shows

### Usage Summary

The usage card shows how many tag changes have been recorded this month.

* **Free plan:** Displays a progress bar showing changes used vs. the 30-change monthly limit
* **Premium plan:** Shows total changes tracked with no limit indicator

The count resets to zero on the 1st of each month.

### Recent Tag Activity

Three tables show the most recent tag changes for each entity type:

* **Product Tags** — recent changes to product tags
* **Order Tags** — recent changes to order tags
* **Customer Tags** — recent changes to customer tags

Each row shows:

| Column     | Description                                                                |
| ---------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Entity     | Name of the order, product, or customer (linked to its Shopify Admin page) |
| Changes    | Tags added (`+tag`) or removed (`−tag`)                                    |
| Changed By | User name or "Shopify Admin"                                               |
| Time       | How long ago the change was made                                           |

### Plan Status

A card shows your current plan. Free users also see an upgrade prompt with a link to Premium.

## Tracking Settings

From the Settings page, you can choose which entity types to track. Uncheck any type to stop recording new changes for it (existing history is kept).

    Check or uncheck **Orders**, **Products**, and **Customers** as needed

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save Preferences**. Changes take effect immediately.

## Settings Page Sections

The Settings page includes additional information beyond tracking preferences:

### Tag Changes This Month

A breakdown of your monthly usage by entity type (orders, products, customers).

### Your Plan

A side-by-side comparison of Free and Premium plans with your current plan highlighted. Upgrade or downgrade from here.

### Data Management

* **Export CSV** — Download all tag history as a CSV file (Premium only)
* **Data Retention** — Tag history is stored indefinitely while the app is installed and deleted permanently on uninstall

### Privacy & Support

Summary of GDPR compliance and a link to contact support.
